Determination of Cu, Zn, Fe, Ni; Sn in electroplating baths

The measurements were performed by using Absorption flame AAS technique with double beam mode. The background correction mode is deuterium background correction.   The samples were diluted according to their concentration; 0.1% KCl solution and 3%HNO3 were added and the graduated flask filled to a volume of 100 ml.

Abstract

Experimental:

The measurements were performed by using Absorption flame AAS technique with double beam mode. The background correction mode is deuterium background correction.

Sample preparation:

The samples were diluted according to their concentration; 0.1% KCl solution and 3%HNO3 were added and the graduated flask filled to a volume of 100 ml.

Standard preparation:

Cu:prepared standard solution consist of 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 mg/l Cu in 0.1% KCl and   3% HNO3

Zn:prepared standard solution consist of 0.3 / 0.6 / 0.9 / 1.2 mg/l Zn in 0.1% KCl and   3% HNO3

Fe:prepared standard solution consist of 0.25 / 0.5 / 1.0 mg/l Fe in 0.1% KCl and 3% HNO3

Ni:Prepared standard solution consist of 0.5 / 1.0 / 2.0 mg/l Ni in 0.1% KCl andc 3% HNO3

Sn:Prepared standard solution consist of 10 / 20 / 30 mg/l Sn in 0.1% KCl and 3% HNO3
